DESCRIPTION:2 modules Online Course\nLimited places\n“The modern painting process\,\ncolor & composition”\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe will work on a 2-3 figure or semi figure composition from draft sketch to the final work. We will look on the different ways to find interesting compositions. Some basics from theory of composition and color to how to build color harmony and good rhythm of composition masses on your canvases.  \nOf course I will show you step by step the stages of how I work on my painting technique. And we will talk about how I search and decide to work on the different themes in my compositions.  \nThe course will include videos\, photos and schemes about the main topics. \nFirst week Module I \nThe foundations \n\nComposition theory\nColor theory\nPainting\, drawing materials\n\nSecond week Module II \nThe practice: \n\nDrawing technique\nPainting technique\nStages of the work on composition\n\nExercises & Feedback \nIn both modules\, specific exercises will be proposed to grasp the essential concepts that will be developed during the live online sessions.  You will have 5 days after each module to work on your own studio and at the end you will upload your work to our website School visual Platform.  There\, you will interact and receive feedback from the teacher and other participants for you to learn also from your classmates work and exchange comments with them. \nDuring the online session Denis will also share  videos of his painting demos from photo reference. Plus some short videos of him working from life\, color exercises etc. \nCOURSE CONTENT \nThis experience will keep you engaged during 4 weeks\, learning and working guided interactively by the teacher. The course is aimed at any artists who wants to expand their vision about painting\, for a limited group of 100 places max and comprises: \n7 Live online Sessions: You will have  7 days of live online sessions\, 6 with lectures\, demos and Q&A and a final one for discussing the students exercises results\, general advice from the teacher and Q&A (See schedule in next page) \nEach live session will last 2 hours where the artist will develop the teaching program. \nExercises program: The teacher will propose specific exercises during the live online sessions sharing with you lectures\, examples or demos solving the questions that may arise. \nFeedback & Critique: From the deadline of receipt of your exercises the group will receive a general feedback and you a personal comment from the teacher. \nQ&A: You will be able to ask all your questions during the time reserved for them in each online session. DESCRIPTION:Online Course\nLimited places\n“A modern take on composition\,\ndrawing & color in portrait painting”\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOBJECTIVES AND CONTENT \nThe main focus of this course will be portrait painting\, but built into it we will go trough all elements of contemporary realism painting and a modern perspective on portrait painting.  \nWe will underline the importance of visual language and formal composition as a base for getting artistic results. \nWe will interconnect drawing and painting; thinking about painting through drawing and thinking about drawing through painting.  \nDenis will cover another essential topics like: \n\nColor and value and their primary importance in painting\nDifferent techniques and artistic approaches\nColor theory made easy.\nAcademic education or self employment in art.\nAnatomy for artists and for portrait and figurative artists especially.\n\nIn this course\, different exercises will be proposed: \n\nExercises for improving your feel of color\nExercises in drawing to feel 3d shape and transfer it to 2d\nTips\, tricks and tools to find interesting composition for your paintings.\n\nDuring the online session Denis will also share about three hours video of his portrait painting demo from photo reference.
