OBJECTIVES AND CONTENT
\nIn this workshopVincent Desiderio will deal with basic technical procedures related\nto the painting indirect method.
\nThe soul of a painting is not the narrative (the story) but the technical narrative which means to pull from technical procedures the lion\u2019s share of meaning, therefore placing the greatest creative responsibility on the manipulation of materials and the story of their evolution in the painting.<\/p>\n

In this context the management of light is one of the most important aspects.The focus will be on creating a study by heightening with light. Emphasis will be on opacity and transparency as well as tonality and temperature.<\/p>\n

We will work with a variety of methods and materials but predominantly oils on shellacked paper.
\nWe will work with live model.Teacher will demonstrate.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
