"Still life. Aesthetic approach and color harmony: Structure"
OBJECTIVES AND CONTENT
The starting point will be the reality. In this workshops we will work with some natural still-lives.
It is very important to understand that painting is not copying and that the language of painting generates images that go beyond the real thing. Guided by the proposed light and color, we will firstly do an analytical work.We will try to simplify what we see and translate it into simpler structures that we can assimilate.
The palette is the other fundamental pillar that forces us to look for relations of dominant tones that harmonise by proximity.
